Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to reply to a specific message in Instagram DMs
On smartphone
1.
Go to the Instagram app
2.
Open the conversation and select the message you want to reply to
3.
Now, tap and hold on to the message. You will see three actions here- Reply, Report and More
4.
Tap on More. The message you are replying to will appear above the text input box
5.
Type your message and send
On PC
1.
Open Instagram on your laptop
2.
Go to the Messenger icon located at the top of the screen
3.
Open the conversation and message you wish to respond to
4.
Click on the three-dot icon placed next to the message
5.
Here, select Reply from the suggested options
6.
Type in your reply and click Send
